Lawas futsal competitions begin Saturday

LAWAS: Mega Futsal Lawas will be hosting a Lawas Under 25 Futsal Closed Competition and Women Open Futsal competition this Saturday at Mega futsal court.

Organiser, councilor Liaw Ho Peng said the Under 25 category would start at 8 am while the Women competition kicks off at 2 pm, and entry fees is RM 80 per team for the respective competition based on group league format.

The champion will take home RM 300 cash and jersey while the first and second runners-up, RM 200 and RM 100 respectively with jerseys.

The closing date would be on Dec 15, and draws will be held at 3 pm on the same day.

The Under 25 competition requires players to submit a copy of the identity card to certify they were born on or before 1986, and those interested can contact Liaw at 019-8851500, Joselly (019-8948494) or Hiap Leong trading Company at 085-285686.
