CONCACAF teams have begun their preparations for next year’s Futsal Championship which will also qualify four nations to the FIFA Futsal World Cup Thailand 2012 … Here is a look at what they are doing …

CONCACAF TEAMS TO COMPETE AT 2011 GRAND PRIX DE FUTSAL ON SUNDAY: Costa Rica, Guatemala and USA will compete at the 2011 Grand Prix de Futsal in Manau, Brazil starting this Sunday (16 October) … Two venues (Amadeu Teixeira Arena, Gymnasium Sesi) will host the sixteen team annual invitational tournament which has four groups of four in the opening round with the finals taking place on 23 October … Defending CONCACAF champion Guatemala will face Angola, Netherland and the host in Group A, while Group B has Costa Rica, Paraguay, Russia and Zambia … USA is in Group C alongside Belgium, Iran and Uruguay, while rounding out the first stage is Group D that has Argentina, Czech Republic, Hungary and Mozambique.
