Afrique en ligneAfrican Football: CAF annual meetings open in CairoThe annual meetings of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) opened at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, Tuesday and will last till 28 Sept.
The continental football governing body said in a statement Tuesday that the meeting of its various standing committees was aimed at discussing and deliberating on issues related to football development.
The committees include the inter-club committee, which opened the meetings Tuesday (20 Sept.), alongside the committees for the African Under-17 and Under-20 championships.
It will be followed by the meetings of the organising committee for women football; organising committee for futsal and beach soccer; referees’ committee; sports medicine committee; football committee; technical development committee; media committee; disciplinary board and the executive committee, among others.
