Perth Youth FutsalTHE Perth Youth Futsal sessions continue this Friday with the usual start time of 7pm for the PYF skillz school, followed by the 8pm start for the 14/15 league and the 9pm start for the 16/17 league.
Applications are invited from any players wishing to participate in the PYF Skillz School, which has a limited number of places available and is open to any player aged up to 14 years old.
Perth Saltires continued their good start to the season with a well earned win against Live Active, whilst their younger club mates Perth Youth Saltires lost their first game of the season in a close encounter against FAMCO. Both teams are in action again next Monday night when they meet each other.
Preparations are underway for participation in a prestigious tournament in Lommel, Belgium, at the end of November. The squad has been selected and the players are looking forward to participating in the 64 team event.
Due to demand, the club are planning to hold another PYF Level 1 course in the coming weeks. The club is also organising a very interesting coaching trip to Spain in the very near future to undergo a weekend coaching session with one of the top professional Futsal clubs there, and taking in a top division game whilst there – all these developments are only open to PYF coaches, and those interested in becoming PYF coaches.
With many interesting developments and changes in the pipeline for the 2011/12 season, the club are looking for additional volunteers to help as coaches / admin so that the club can continue making progress. Anyone interested in helping should get in touch asap.
