Fourth national friendly tournament next week

The Malta Futsal national team will be engaged in the 4th National Futsal friendly tournament between Sunday and 7 September.

Besides Malta, the other nations in this quadrangular event are Greece, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

National team coach Vic Hermans will be weighing up his options with regard to fielding his team in the stern tests against the Greeks, the Swiss and the UAE opposition. This tournament will be in preparation for the upcoming competitive matches Malta will be playing.

The tournament is being played at the Hibernians Pavilion, Corradino, where the Maltese public is expected to give support to the local team.

The tournament director is Mark Borg and the progamme is as follows:

Sunday, 4 September
6pm UAE vs. Greece
8pm Malta vs Switzerland

Monday, 5 September
6pm UAE vs. Switzerland
8pm Malta vs. Greece

Wednesday, 7 September
6pm Greece vs. Switzerland
8pm Malta vs. UAE
