Czech Futsal update

The 2011/2012 season means a new era for Benago, being the first ever year as a professional club in their history.

The previous season was a kind of test in this purpose, through the oustanding signing of the colombian star Angellot Caro Garces: the team trained all days and experienced the best results ever achieved in the club life.

Big changes are in progress, the aim for the Benago management is to reach the "last thing missed": the czech national league title.

Prestigious signings were completed, like the serbian keeper, former Ekonomac, Djordje Jovanovic, the england international Agon Rexha, two of the best kosovar players like Dani Alaj and Azem Brahimi. From the local competition Benago will also be joined by well known names like Jan Lištvan and Pavel Novotny. The "south american taste" won't be lost, with the arrival of the colombian Camilo Gomez. In the roster are obviously confirmed "big names" like David Filinger, Ago Simitci, Dan Brozek and Jan Klima, as well as others.

"I think that we'll have a very competitive team along with national champions Era Pack and of course other strong teams like Tango or Bohemians. We're definitely sad to have lost one of the best worldwide talents like Angellot Caro Garces but I accept the idea that the czech league was not enough for his ambitions, so we have decided to help his desire to grow up as a professional futsal player, letting him free to sign for Caja Segovia" told coach Beni Simitci. He added: We have started an interesting collaboration with Caja Segovia, a first for Czech Futsal. Between September 4th and 9th we will be in Segovia, playing a friendly with the Jesus Velasco's roster, it will also work for them as season opener and new signings introduction to their fans. We hope to be ready for September 16th when the new league will begin through the big challenge against Era-Pack Chrudim, the best start we could dream about".
