THE new season will kick off later next month than expected.

It all starts again on August 8 and not August 1 as previously stated – a few teams have asked for the night off so friendlies will take place on August 8.

There will be a break on August 15, 16 and 18 as the UEFA Futsal Cup will be staged in Bell’s Sports Centre, with Perth Saltires.

The league will kick off on Monday, August 22 and at the moment there are only 13 teams playing and only two weeks’ fixtures will be handed out. By August 8, there will be fixtures for the following six weeks.
