EUC Futsal 2011: Men’s final to be broadcasted on television!

European Universities Futsal Championship 2011 Men’s Final and Bronze Match will be broadcasted live on UrhoTV on Sunday July 24. UrhoTV is a network which focuses on sports. President of the Organizing Committee, Jussi Kuusela, does not hide his excitement:

I am extremely satisfied that the Championship will be televised. The television rights for the Final prompted vast interest from various networks and I believe that UrhoTV guarantees a high standard production. Addition coverage will benefit futsal in Finland generally, and I expect that Men’s final will be of superb quality.

Director and producer of the broadcast, Olli Härkki, is enthusiastic to add a new sport to the channels selection:

Approximately five years ago broadcasting national Futsal League games came close but the project didn’t materialize. Now real entertainment can be expected as futsal has evolved into a rapid and eventful sport.

Men’s Final will be played on Sunday 24 at 6.30pm and Bronze Match two hours earlier at 4.30pm.
