Middlesbrough Futsal Club are about to kick off the longest ever futsal match in history, at Catterick Leisure Centre. The current record stands at 35 hours and was broken in April by Bethel College. Middlesbrough hope to go longer and will break the current record at 9.01pm on Saturday 2nd July.
The attempt is scheduled to finish at 10pm on Saturday and the whole match can be watched live on www.BoroFutsal.com and followed on twitter using the hashtag #futsalworldrecord. Donations can still be made on www.justgiving.com/borofutsal. All donations will go direct to TFM radio's Cash for kids.
All are welcome to come along and support the boys. The centre is open to the public for the whole event and there is also a 24 hour tesco across the road! There is a raffle taking place on Saturday at 8pm!
