New Futsal Academy in Town


Pattaya is famous for providing unsurpassed tourist attractions, and in recent years has developed a number of world class sporting facilities for all to enjoy. One such is the newly opened Palladium Futsal Academy in Soi Korpai.

Futsal is an extremely popular ball game played throughout Thailand; indeed some people class it as the national game. The opening was conducted by Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Aegasing, who then went on to enjoy watching the first games to be played between different teams. These included members of the Thepprasit Club who played against the Issan Club of Pattaya.

There were also officers from both Pattaya and Banglamung Police Stations and different Media reporters playing against each other. The benefactor of this new academy is Mr. Yongkiat Siriwatjanangoon who invested millions of baht to develop 5 rai of land into the Futsal Academy, which will be open 24 hours a day, in the hope to teach, with the help of Thai professional coaches, future stars of Futsal and to introduce the exciting fast paced game to interested parties of all ages.
