Refs quizzes draw record pageviews

Kuala Lumpur: The number of visits to the Referees Quiz on the-afc.com has markedly jumped in the month of May thanks to special attention to that part of the website and constant addition of more challenging quizzes by the AFC Referees Department.

The month of May has recorded the highest number of page views, at 2,429, for the quiz so far this year compared to 1,608 (January), 1,139 (February), 1,312 (March) and 943 (April).

AFC Referees Director Yoshimi Ogawa said his department was encouraged with the increased interest from the readers and believed that the quiz was a useful tool to improve understanding and interpretation of the Laws of the Game.

“We will update this quiz regularly, and we have also added the quiz for futsal laws recently,” he said.

The futsal laws quiz is now up since Tuesday and has challenged the-afc.com readers to test their understanding and interpretation of the Laws of the Game.

“Give it a shot. Even if you get them all right, it won’t make you a referee. But it will make you a true-blue and wise fan of futsal,” an announcement for the futsal quiz challenges the readers.
