44 competing in Futsal League on May 16

MIRI: Forty four teams of men and women category, from all the divisions will take part in the State Level Malaysia Futsal League from May 16 to 17 at Miri Stadium.

The chairman of Miri Division Football Association (PBBM), Harifen Mansor said the two-day tournament is organised by Sarawak Football Association (FAS) in collaboration with PBBM.

He added that the tournament will feature top teams from vying for the title.

Champion team of men category will walk away with cash RM2,500, second RM1,500, RM800 and RM500 for third and fourth placings respectively.

Meanwhile the champion of women category, will receive RM2,000, second RM1,000 and third RM500.

The winning teams of both categories will also receive trophies and medals.

Champion team of each category will represent Sarawak for the national level Futsal League tournament in July.
