Inter-School Competition For Army Cadets

Kuala Belait - Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam Secondary School won an inter-school futsal competition for army cadets after defeating Rimba Secondary School 1-0 in the finals held at the futsal pitch of 3rd Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force in Lumut Camp.

Pehin Dato Seri Maharaja Secondary School Mentiri finished third.

Army Cadet 17031 Md Abd Shafiee Abd Latif from PAP Hjh Rashidah Secondary School was named as the competition's top goalscorer while Army Cadet 25064 Md Waj di Arbi from Rimba Secondary School was chosen as the competition's best player.

Present to hand over medals and the winning trophy was the guest of honour Asmah Awang Tengah, Acting Principal of Pengiran Jaya Negara Hj Abu Bakar Secondary School.

In the inter-school netball competition for army cadets, PAP Hjh Masna Secondary School won 16-14 against Sultan Hassan Secondary School to emerge as champion of the competition.

The winning team's Army Cadet 41092 Dk Nuraqilah Pg Anak Shamsul Bahri was chosen as the competition's best player while Sultan Hassan Secondary School's Army Cadet Corporal Norafiqah Atiqah Zulkefli won the top goalscorer's trophy. Finishing in third place was Tanjong Maya Secondary School.

Hjh Munn Abdullah, the Principal of PAP Hjh Rashidah Secondary School was the guest of honour who presented the medals and trophy to all winners.
