Temse Cup

International Futsal Tournament
Temse - Belgium
(4 January - 5 January 2003)

Most Temse Cup participants come back every year. The tournament celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2002. Clubs who had taken part in all ten tournaments were honoured by the organisers during the anniversary celebrations. This was a typical example of the atmosphere at this winter indoor football event - pleasant, amicable and good natured. The atmosphere is not the only reason teams return, but also because football is played at a very high level here. Also, those taking part stay in hotels in Antwerp where they have an ideal opportunity to acquaint themselves with the city’s enjoyable shopping and nightlife. All these things make teams want to come back year after year.

TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER(S)
ZVC Vitamientje has been the organiser of this indoor soccer tournament for the last decade and is destined to take this event into the next millennium. Indoor soccer clubs are known for their smaller organisations and you can imagine what kind of effort it takes to organise this tournament for so many years. Together with the managers of the sport halls, ZVC Vitamientje will make sure again that, also with the help of the city council , the 2003 edition will be a success.
