Tournament details


I. Cup aims
• To facilitate international relationships in the women futsal
• To popularize women futsal
• To decide who will be the winner of Thelena Cup
• To support preparation for National Championship 2008/2009

IV. Participants:

At least 2 teams from foreign futsal championships and some Hungarian teams from the National Championship (6 teams together).


V. Competition rules:
Qualifying round:
Teams will be separeted in 2 groups (Group A, Group B).
Teams in the same group will play with each other.
3 points for winning, 1 point for draw.
Ranking oder in the groups according to the following:
- Gained points
- Results against each other (in case of equal points)
- Difference in scores
- More scores


Semi finals:

The 1st and 2nd ones (from Group A and Group B) can qualify for the final.
The 3rd ones (from Group A and Group B) will play 2 matches with each other to decide about the 5th and 6th place of the Cup.
The losers of semi finals will play with each other to decide about the 3rd and 4th place of the Cup.
The winners of semi finals will be qualified for the final.
In the case of draw there will be 5 minutes elongation and 3-3 penalties if neccessary.

Rules:
FIFA futsal rules are valid on the cup with the following exceptations:
• teams can not ask for break during a match
• time is continuous
• 12 players can be entered for a match
• One match is 1x20 minutes long
• Players in case of ordering off can not be entered for the next match.
• In case of elongation penalty points gained in the normal playtime will be valid.
• Protestation is not allowed, organizing comittee will decide in moot questions


VI. Prizes:

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams will get warrant and cup.
The best player, the best goalkeeper and the player who scored the most goals will get awards.


VII. Entry fee, cost:

There is no entry fee. Accomodation (2 nights for 15) and eating (2x dinners and 2x breakfasts for 15) are provided for free.
