PROGRAMME
The organiser FC Chodov offers a one and half day tournament. Therefore, Friday evening can be used for a general sightseeing of Prague. On Saturday most of the group matches will be played in three nearby sports halls in the southern part of Prague at approx. 20 minutes from the centre. Because of the set-up of the tournament enough time will be available to explore the city centre of Prague. On Sunday morning the semi-finals and finals will be played, followed by the prize-giving ceremony.

- Friday: Afternoon Arrival Prague. Evening Free programme; suggesting Sightseeing Prague
- Saturday: Day Tournament - preliminary Rounds. Evening Free programme; suggestion: visit Wencelas Square area
- Sunday: Morning Tournament - Preliminary rounds, classification matches and finals. Afternoon Prize Giving ceremony. Evening: Free programme; suggestion: sight-seeing old city and Charles Bridge Departure (depending on arrangement)
- Monday: Morning Departure

TOURIST INFORMATION
• Prague. The beauty of Prague is legendary since the middle ages. The Czech love their capital and have a passion for their past. As a result, the city is beautifully preserved. No wonder that Prague works like a magnet to visitors from all over the world. Here, they will find a fabulous architecture, numerous impressing monuments, charming alleys and lively shopping areas in a historical setting. Prague is build on seven hills, divided by the Moldau river, which is spanned by 15 bridges. The centre consists of 6 sections, each with a distinguish flavour: Staré Mesto (Old Town) with its winding, narrow cobblestone streets, Nové Mesto (New Town - don't be fooled: over 600 years old) with the popular Wencelas Square, Malá Strana (little town), the most picturesque part of Prague filled with palaces, Hradcany - the quarter around the famous Prague Castle and Vysehrad, named after the fortress on the cliffs rising high above the Moldau river, Josefov-Jewish ghetto with the spirit of Franz Kafka.
• Pub "U Medvidku". This famous Czech pub in the centre of the city offers four menus courses and different kind of drinks (unlimited consumption). Price: approx. Euro 17 (approx. £11) per person.
• Royal Route (approx. 4 miles). Visitors who have only a couple of hours to spend in Prague, may follow the "Royal Route" - in earlier days the track of the coronation processions of the Czech kings. Route: Staré Mesto/Prasná Brána (town gate build in 1475) - Market Square with the Old Town Hall - Karlova Street - Charles Bridge (1357) across the Moldau to Malá Strana - St. Nicholas Church - up to the hill via the Nerudova Street to the Prague Castle.
• Shopping and entertainment. The best areas for shopping and entertainment are in the Old Town and the New Town. Easy to handle by foot since this area covers just a couple of square kilometres. Take your time since there is a lot to do and to see, during the day as well as during the night, especially in the area between the Wencelas Square and the famous Charles Bridge.
• Theatre. Those who want to experience a unique performance, should go to the "Laterna Magika". You don't need to understand Czech, since the review includes dance, music and film. Entry fee: Euro 20 (approx. £12) per person (group rate). Tickets to be ordered upon application.
