The first ever Romanian Futsal Championship was held between 20-27 of February in Odorheiul Secuiesc. There were 12 Clubs from all around the Romania.

Competition Format:
2 Groups of 6 Clubs each

Semi-finals:
Inter Tg. Mures - Fratia Rm. Vilcea 3-1
AS Odorheiu Secuiesc - Penitenciarul Iasi 4-2

3rd/4th Place Match:
Fratia Rm. Vilcea - Penitenciarul Iasi 6-4

1st/2nd Place Match:
AS Odorheiu Secuiesc - Inter Tg. Mures 2-1

The decisive goal was scored in the 37th minute by Nagy from AS Odorheiu Secuiesc. AS Odorheiu Secuiesc will rappresent Romania in the 3rd UEFA Futsal Cup 2003/2004.
